We've spent many nights of our trip sleeping in our tent; and while we've enjoyed the simplicity of camping, we felt it was time for an upgrade! Acting as our new home and our new wheels, our hired camper van was awesome. We first took it through Italy, exploring the Abruzzo region, Assisi, the Dolomites and the Lakes region in the north. We then crossed into Switzerland, where we feasted our eyes on the beauty of Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen - both from the ground and from the sky! We rounded out our road trip driving through Germany, where we camped in a tree before returning our trusty van in Munich.
